How To Completely Surrender To God And Live In The Beautiful Will Of God For Your Life

Surrender To God

This blog post is a call

Surrender To God through Jesus Christ

A call to allow Jesus Christ to be your Savior and let The Holy Spirit do His work in your life.

(2 Corinthians 5:17-19 NIV) says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sin against them.”

God is calling us to reconciliation to restore us to Himself and Living A Surrendered Life.

How does this reconciliation happen?

(Acts 2:38 AMPC) says, “And Peter answered them, repent (change your views and purpose to accept the will of God in your inner selves instead of rejecting it) and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of and release from your sins, and you shall receive the gift of The Holy Spirit.

Peter gave this message when he addressed a crowd on the day of Pentecost, and on that day, three thousand people were saved.

(In Acts 16:25-31 NIV) it says, “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Here, Paul and Silas were telling the jailer that he must believe in the Lord Jesus to be saved.

We know that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. Contrary to popular beliefs, there are not multiple ways but only one, which is Jesus Christ.

In (John 14:6 NIV)Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

So to have a relationship with God, we have to acknowledge Jesus Christ. In (Romans 10:9-10 NIV) say’s If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

So you have to believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, you have to believe without a doubt, and only you can make that conscious decision to believe. You have to speak from your mouth that Jesus is Lord. At the end of the day, it is your belief that will justify you. We can all say a prayer, but if you don’t believe what you are saying, then it will prove futile.

I will put prayer at the end of this blog post which you can pray and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, which will mark you as a child of God. But as you pray the words, you must believe what you are praying and accept the salvation grace of our Lord Jesus Christ into your heart.

The Holy Spirit

The moment you say the prayer and believe it, The Holy Spirit will fill you and will begin to clean you up. In (Titus 3:5-7 NIV), it says, “he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”

When The Holy Spirit fills you at the moment of Salvation, here are some of the things you can expect to happen:

  1. The Holy Spirit will help you in your walk, God. (John 14:16 NIV) And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper to be with you forever.
  2. The Holy Spirit will teach you everything. (John 14:26 ESV) “But the Helper, The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
  3. The Holy Spirit convicts us (John 16:8 CSB) says, “when He comes, He will convict the world about sin, righteousness, and judgment.
  4. The Holy Spirit gives us gifts that equip us to do work for God. (1 Corinthians 12:11 NIV) All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Heaven is our home; we are just passing through the earth. Therefore, a relationship with God far outweighs any other relationship here on earth. God is waiting to receive you to Himself. Will you surrender and submit to the Lord today? If yes, please find a prayer below, and as you pray it, decide you want a relationship with Jesus Christ and sincerely with your heart; believe your confession, and you will instantly become a child of God.

The Prayer

Father, I come before you a sinner; I pray and ask you to forgive me of my sins. I believe that You sent Your son Jesus Christ to bring Salvation and to save me from my sins so that I can be reconciled to You. Father, I believe in Your Son Jesus Christ; I believe He walked the earth, died, was buried, and Father You rose Him up on the third day. Therefore, I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Father, today I surrender every part of my life to You, and I ask Jesus Christ to come into my heart. Father, I pray that Your will for my life will be done, in Jesus’ name I pray – Amen!

As you have prayed and believed in your heart, you are born-again, and you will be filled with The Holy Spirit. As the days go by, you will begin to experience tangible changes in your life. God bless you.
