3 Powerful Prayers For Direction And Clarity To Instantly Receive Guidance From God

Prayers For Direction And Clarity

The enemy is the author of confusion, and left to him, our life will have no meaning, and we will live in a state of confusion. With that said, many people live in a state of confusion, and the enemy robs them of their peace of mind and clarity on which way they need to move in life.

When we live in a state of perpetual confusion and without clarity, we tend to move according to our understanding, and as the Bible states, Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. This reason is why when we find ourselves in a state of confusion, and our path forward seems murky – we have to turn to God and pray to Him for clarity and direction. Only God can counsel us and reveal to us the right path to take.

We take these prayers from the book of Psalms, and they are very powerful prayers, so pray them consistently and listen as The Holy Spirit begins to give you directions on the matter you are praying about.

We Take The First Prayer From Psalm 119:105-107

Your word is a lamp for my feet,

    a light on my path.

 I have taken an oath and confirmed it,

    that I will follow your righteous laws.

 I have suffered much;

    preserve my life, Lord, according to your word.

We Take The Second Prayer From Psalm 86

Hear me, Lord, and answer me,

    for I am poor and needy.

Guard my life, for I am faithful to you;

    save your servant who trusts in you.

You are my God; have mercy on me, Lord,

    for I call to you all day long.

Bring joy to your servant, Lord,

    for I put my trust in you.

 You, Lord, are forgiving and good,

    abounding in love to all who call to you.

 Hear my prayer, Lord;

    listen to my cry for mercy.

 When I am in distress, I call to you,

    because you answer me.

 Among the gods there is none like you, Lord;

    no deeds can compare with yours.

 All the nations you have made

    will come and worship before you, Lord;

    they will bring glory to your name.

 For you are great and do marvelous deeds;

    you alone are God.

 Teach me your way, Lord,

    that I may rely on your faithfulness;

give me an undivided heart,

    that I may fear your name.

 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;

    I will glorify your name forever.

 For great is your love toward me;

    you have delivered me from the depths,

    from the realm of the dead.

 Arrogant foes are attacking me, O God;

    ruthless people are trying to kill me—

    they have no regard for you.

 But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,

    slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

 Turn to me and have mercy on me;

    show your strength in behalf of your servant;

save me, because I serve you

    just as my mother did.

 Give me a sign of your goodness,

    that my enemies may see it and be put to shame,

    for you, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

We Take The Third Prayer From Psalm 5

Listen to my words, Lord,

    consider my lament.

 Hear my cry for help,

    my King and my God,

    for to you I pray.

 In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;

    in the morning I lay my requests before you

    and wait expectantly.

 For you are not a God who is pleased with wickedness;

    with you, evil people are not welcome.

 The arrogant cannot stand

    in your presence.

You hate all who do wrong;

     you destroy those who tell lies.

The bloodthirsty and deceitful

    you, Lord, detest.

 But I, by your great love,

    can come into your house;

in reverence I bow down

    toward your holy temple.

 Lead me, Lord, in your righteousness

    because of my enemies—

    make your way straight before me.

 Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;

    their heart is filled with malice.

Their throat is an open grave;

    with their tongues they tell lies.

 Declare them guilty, O God!

    Let their intrigues be their downfall.

Banish them for their many sins,

    for they have rebelled against you.

 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;

    let them ever sing for joy.

Spread your protection over them,

    that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

 Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;

    you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

These are very powerful prayers, and when we pray the word of God, we are praying God’s language and mind. So I hope this prayer will bring direction and clarity to you for the situation you might be going through.

Amen!!
