How Is Salvation Achieved Receiving Salvation is to receive Eternal Life. Eternal Life is the newness of Life that a believer derives from Christ. Jesus says that Eternal Life is when we know the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom God has sent (John 17:3). Salvation Jesus died in our place.
